Our core mission may be to avoid food being wasted, but we are conscious that in the cost of living crisis that the Community Shop helps many people.
We are grateful to work with several local food banks who refer people on to us, especially as they cannot help everyone.
Many of you will know bread and rolls are always free to customers – but we also pass on baby milk and baby food for free too, if a family has a youngster who can benefit.
We also share those items through our emergency parcels and off site for social workers and family support staff in charities to access.
