A belated thank you to the many people who supported our appeals for winter coats and Christmas presents and shared among our recipient organisations.
We aimed to be child-focused with the presents, with our generous donors buying a present a child had asked for in advance: the Christmas wishes made it so much more meaningful for them than a generic gift, though no doubt gratefully received.
We had lots of lovely feedback from charity workers and letters from families.
Similarly, our donors who passed on good quality coats for children and adults got amazing feedback, like the young care leaver who didn’t have a way to stay warm.
