We are completely dependent on the amazing collectors, goods handlers and shop assistants who volunteer with us. They are all committed to the mission and we hope they get a lot out of knowing how much difference their hard work makes…but it is lovely that they are also recognised from recent award nominations as University of Northampton Changemaker finalists.
Foodkind CIC (formerly Revolution Zero) collects surplus food from supermarkets and other food outlets and shares it through a network of shops, communities and charities. Every year our volunteers save hundreds of tonnes of produce – so our customers enjoy good quality meals, whatever their circumstances.

Volunteer Roles
It takes a large team to keep Revolution Zero running so there are a number of roles available.
Shop Zero: maintaining stocks, food box management, serving customers.
Logistics: food collections and deliveries
Other/specialised roles: publicity, social media, business systems, handy jobs, gardening.
