Welcome to Jane Wilson who is our new Deputy Manager at the Foodkind CIC community shop and hub.
Jane applied to us after being a long time volunteer collector and shop assistant. The timing was perfect as she’d just left the NHS after 19 years. She said she was looking for a new challenge.
The photograph shows Jane, with her husband Nigel (who some will know from Thursday night shop volunteering) and her two sons. They have often helped as a team – most notably on busy Christmas Eve collections and shop openings.
We are delighted to welcome her to the new role and wish her every success.
